KETK reported that this Friday a fatal collision between two 18-wheelers in East Texas. The incident happened at the intersection of Red Bird Road and Jamestown Road just east of Tyler in Smith County. One of the commercial truck was hauling logs and the other a flatbed. According to DPS, the driver of the logging truck died in the accident.
These are dangerous machines. Our heart goes out to the families affected by this tragic accident especially given the holiday season.
