It is rare that we get to report good news along with accidents involving 18-wheelers. But this Monday found that a collision between a pickup truck and a semi trailer hauling gravel resulted in no injuries. The truck accident occurred some 20 miles west of Jacksboro where Hwy114 and Hwy 16 meets. The pickup truck pulled out into the intersection and, according to Texas Department of Public Safety, the commercial truck driver was able to avoid a much more serious collision by taking evasive actions. Nevertheless, both crashed into each other causing the 18-wheeler to turn over. Yet, thankfully no one was reported hurt.
